Putnam City North High School CommUNITY Give Back Day was a big success! Student groups worked hard and made a big difference throughout NW OKC. We love this end-of-summer tradition!

🚀 Uniting for a day of inspiration and camaraderie, teachers from across the District came together at Convocation to kick off another fantastic school year! We also pulled off a big surprise to award the first-ever Putnam City Luminary Award.
🧡 Congratulations to Kathlyn Reynolds for being honored with the prestigious Luminary Award! Your dedication and hard work have truly shone a light on the path for others to follow. Your contributions to the field are an inspiration to us all.
🍎 Teachers and support staff, here's to a new school year of growth, collaboration, and making a difference in the lives of our Putnam City students!

When they aren’t protecting our future within our schools, you’ll find them serving up smiles in our community. Our dedicated Putnam City Schools Campus Police Department looked good this morning in the City of Bethany Freedom Fest parade!

Flying high, Superintendent Dr. Rhodes, Wiley Post Elementary Principal Mrs. Rexach, and 1982 Oklahoma State Teacher of the Year and former Wiley Post Educator Kathlyn Reynolds got a special trip to Tinker Air Force Base for an up close look at the U.S. Navy Blue Angels. ✈
The Blue Angels are the official mascot of Wiley Post Elementary, making this experience memorable and historic. Thank you to Tinker AFB and the Blue Angels!

Practice makes perfect, and a little bit of sweat helps too. 🥁😅 Putnam City West Drumline and Front Ensemble were hard at work today preparing for the fall. Now, if only we had fall temperatures outside. ☀️

It's always a big day when the Rolling Thunder Book Bus comes around! Summer Recharge students at Hilldale Elementary were all smiles today while picking out their free book. Thank you, Oklahoma City Thunder and American Fidelity!

Putnam City High School Eclectic Dance Company has been working hard at camp this week learning new skills and giving some new modern choreography a whirl from guest choreographer, Mayu Nagano.

Learn from the best to be the best. 🏀 Putnam City West Lady Patriots Basketball held summer camp for elementary and middle schoolers today and it looked like a lot of fun!

𝕊𝕋𝕌𝔻𝔼ℕ𝕋 𝕊ℙ𝕆𝕋𝕃𝕀𝔾ℍ𝕋! 🤩
Several students from all 3 high schools attended State recently to learn valuable lessons on civics, leadership, government, and more. Great job to all of these students for representing Putnam City! #GoBoldly

6th grade Summer Recharge students ventured outside at James L. Capps Middle School to learn in the sand this week! 🏖️
Okay, it wasn't exactly beach vibes... but it was still a fun experience! After reading a poem about boundaries, students demonstrated their understanding with a hands-on activity building a fence and labeling what to keep close and what to keep away. 😎 One student put up a boundary against sharks...we think she was actually feeling the beach vibes.🦈
